I know I am not perfect
I never claimed to be
I may not be perfect
But at least I am me
I've struggled with a lot
And with that I say
Even though I'm not perfect
I'm still me in every way
I used to want to change myself
In any way I could
But as I grew older I don't know why I would
Being me is great
I have my ups and downs
But there are so many things
That I have found
This journey called life
Can be such a crazy thing
But all those childish thoughts
Didn't mean a thing
Now that I am older I'm glad i didn't change
Cause now I can see me
In an entirely differnt range
I am not her
Nor her
Nor her
I am simply me
And that is all I'll ever be
