फिल्म पीपली लाइव का गाना "देश मेरा रंगरेज़ ये बाबु " काफी हद तक सच्चाई से मिला जुला है | मैं बस में सफ़र कर रहा था , बहुत भीड़ थी बस में  ,बैठने की तो क्या ढंग से खड़े होने की भी जगह नहीं रही | खैर मैं पहले ही बैठ गया तो मुझे सीट मिल गयी थी , मोबाइल में गाने लगाकर कान में हेडफोन दल कर गाने सुनाने में व्यस्त था | बस खाचा खच भरी थी | बस में मैंने देखा एक औरत खड़ी भीड़ में नीचे बैठी थी साथ में एक ७-८ साल की बच्ची भी थी ,हाथ में हसिया लिए और शांत सी महिला का चेहरा जैसे मन में सैकड़ो सवालो से भरा हो | उस बस में कुछ बच्चे स्कूल जा रहे उन्हें देख महिला एक बरगी उन्हें देखती ही रहती पर मायूसी से उसका चेहरा झुक जाता और फिर से मन ही मन खुद से सवाल करती होगी कि प्रभु दुनिया को बनाया तुमने है तो एक दुसरे में भेद क्यों रखा, एक को अमीर और दुसरे को गरीब क्यों रखा, उसका चेहरा साफ बयां कर रहा कि काश उसकी संतान भी शिक्षा हासिल कर सकती | उस महिला को देख मेरे मन में कई सवाल घर कर गए कि जहा सरकार कहती है कि देश का हर बच्चा स्कूल जाये और सब शिक्षित हो तो यहाँ यह औरत इस बच्ची को स्कूल क्यों नहीं भेजती है ,,एकबारगी मैंने उससे पूछना चाहा ,पर हिम्मत नहीं होती ,न जाने उसका जवाब क्या होगा और हा उसके हाथ में हसिया भी तो था | फिर भी मैंने हिम्मत करके उस महिला से पूछ ही लिया कि वोह अपनी बेटी को स्कूल क्यों नहीं भेजती , उस औरत का जवाब बड़ा ही दयनीय था उसने कहा " परिवार कि हालत इतनी माली है कि परिवार का खर्च भी मुस्किल से चलता है फिर भी तुम्हारी तरह एक बाबु ने कहा कि सरकारी स्कूल में दाखिला दिला दो वह किताबे भी मुफ्त में मिलेगी ,हमने हमारी बेटी को स्कूल तो भेजा पर पुस्तके नहीं दी उसे तो स्कूल जाकर मास्टर जी से गुजारिश की कि बच्ची को किताबे दे पर मास्टर जी ने पैसे पूछे तो मैं अपनी बेटी को घर ले ई और काम पर ले जाना ही बेहतर समझा  ताकि घर का काम धंधा सीख जाये तो कोई अच्छा परिवार मिल जायेगा तो शादी भी कर देंगे .. मैं सन्न रह गया , कैसे कैसे रंग है इस देश में पैसे वालो अपने बच्चो को अच्छी तालीम दिला देते पर गरीब के लिए तो गरीबी एक अभिशाप है | तभी अचानक एक गड्डा आया तो बस पूरी एक तरफ झुक गयी मानो गिराने वाली हो ,मैंने अपने आप को संभाला , मेरे पास एक देहाती बुढा व्यति बैठा था ,जैसे बस झुकी वह भी मुझ पर झुक गया ,जब बस वापस सही रस्ते पर आई तो बुढा मेरी तरफ सहमी आँखों से देखने लगा मानो उसने कुछ गलती की हो | पर मैंने मुस्कुरा दिया तो बूढ़े ने भी मुस्कुरा दिया | मुझे अच्छा लगा उस बुजुर्ग के चेहरे पर मुस्कान देख कर |  रास्ते में देखा कही बहुत सुन्दर हरियाली तो कही सूखे मैदान मानो देश का दूसरा कोमन वेल्थ गेम के लिए यही पर खेल गाँव बनाया जायेगा ,और फिर से लाखो करोडो के घोटाले किये जायेंगे | आखिर मुझे जहा जाना था मैं वह पहुंचा , पर वह तो पूरा सन्नाटा पसरा था एक व्यक्ति से पूछा तो पता चला कि कोई मूर्ति को लेकर दो धार्मिक गुटों में विवाद हुआ जो बड़ा भयानक हो गया बहुतेरो की दुकाने जला दी गयी , बहुत लोगो के घर उजाड़ दिए गए | पता नहीं लोग धर्म और जाती के लिए क्यों लड़ते झगड़ते है , इंसानियत को परे रख क्यों एक दुसरे का गला काटने चल पड़ते है ,, "सही कहा बात है छोटी बड़ा बतंगड़ " एक हमारा मोहल्ला जहा सब मिलजुल कर ईद दिवाली  मानते और सोहार्द से रहते और एक तरफ यह दुनिया जो इंसानियत का दामन छोड़ एक दुसरे का दमन करने को तुले हुवे है |  क्या इस हिंदुस्तान में यही चलता रहेगा ,जहा गरीबो की शिक्षा के लिए मुफ्त स्कूल तो है पर पढाई मुफ्त नहीं ,जहा खेतो में हरियाली लायी जा सकती नहर नहीं के द्वारा पर गरीब धन के आभाव से पानी खेतो तक नहीं ला पाता सिर्फ वर्ष ऋतू के इंतजार में बैठा होता , और अमन चैन की बाते करते वाले लोग ही देश में अमन चैन को लचर बना रहे है | अगर ऐसे ही चलता रहा तो यह हिंदुस्तान जो एक परिवार की तरह बंधा होना चाहिए एक न एक दिन छिन्न भिन्न हो जायेगा , आज के इन्टरनेट के ज़माने में लोग इन्टरनेट जगत में भी खलबली मचा रहे है अमन चैन की बात को परे रख एक दुसरे पर धार्मिक कटाक्ष कर रहे है | हम तो सब से यही कहना चाहते है कि देश को सात रंग के इन्द्र धनुष कि तरह रंगों में पिरो कर ही रखे |

" ! पांडे जी ने कहा - अरे सुनील बेटा  आज घर वाली ने फटकार सुना दी कि बाबु जी से अपने हिस्से कि बात कर के अपना हिस्सा ले लो वरना बाद में शायद बाद में बचा कुचा जूठन ही मिलेगा और फिर उसने कहा कि अगर मैंने आज बात नहीं कि तो वोह अपने मायके जा बैठेगी ! अब कौन समझाए इन्हें कि माँ बाप अपने बेटे के लिए ही तो सब कुछ करते है ,तनिक भी विश्वास नहीं करती ! अरे इतनी ठण्ड है आओ जरा चाय वाय पीकर थोडा तारो तजा होई जाओ और फिर निकल लेना भई - मैंने कहा ! भाभी जी एक कुर्सी  ला दीजिये पांडे जी आये है और हा एक कप चाय भी ! वैसे भी आजकल हक़ कि लड़ाइया जोरो से चल रही है तो हमारी घरवाली को भी थोडा डर सा हो गया कि अपना हक़ खुद नहीं मांगोगे तो क्या अन्ना जी आएंगे हक़ दिलाने -पांडे जी ने कहा ! हा पांडे जी बात तो सोलह आना सही  है भई भला अपना हक़ कौन छोड़ता आजकल ,बैठिये पांडे जी ,लीजिये चाय ! पांडे जी ठण्ड के मारे काँप रहे थे और चाय कि चुस्किय ले रहे थे ! भाभी जी पिता जी ने कहा कि आज से घर कि जिम्मेदारी आप ही संभाले - मैंने भाभी जी से कहा ! नहीं सुनील पिताजी से कह देना अम्मा और पिता जी के रहते यह परिवार उनका है और परिवार के मुख्या भी वो ही होंगे ! भाभी जी के जाने के बाद पांडे जी अचम्भे में पड़ गए और कहने लगे" भई सुनील तुम्हारा परिवार सही मायनो में परिवार कहने लायक है ,वरना आजकल कौन सास ससुर के साथ रहना चाहता ,अपना हक़ लिया और चल दिए अकेले रहने को ,हमारा भी वही हाल हो रहा सुनील ,अब हम जाकर पिताजी से कहे भी तो क्या कहे ! यह कि पिताजी मेरी पत्नी ने कहा कि आप मुझे मेरा हिस्सा दे दीजिये ,,,,अरे जिनके सामने मैंने आज तक ऊँची आवाज़ में बात नहीं कि उनसे मैं हिस्से कि बात किस मुह से कह पाउँगा ,सब कुछ उनका कमाया हुआ है ,पाल पोस कर बड़ा किया और अच्छे संस्कार दिए आज मुझे अपने पैरो पर खड़े होने काबिल बनाया ,यही असली पूंजी है ! पर कौन समझाए ऐसे इंसानों को जो पैसे के मोह में परिवार का मोह भूल जाती है ! पांडे जी तनिक शांति रखो सब ठीक हो जायेगा - मैंने कहा ! पांडे जी अपने सुना सेठ फकीरचंद के परिवार में भी ""हक़ "" का महाभारत चल रहा है - मैंने कहा ! क्या हुआ सुनील - पांडे जी ने पूछा ! अरे सेठ फकीरचंद का छोटा बेटा हक़ के लिए परदेश जाकर अनसन पर बैठा  है ,साथ में सेठ जी के तिजोरी कि चाबिय भी लेकर गया ! हालांकि सेठ फकीर चंद ने उससे वादा किया और बिना लिखित उसे उसका हिस्सा दे दिया पर बेटे को बाप पर विश्वास ही नहीं ! ,मैंने जब फ़ोन किया तो कहने लगा " अपना हक़ लेने का यही एक चारा बचा है सुनील " अब सेठ के गले में फंदा लग गया करे भी तो क्या ,घर का राशन तक लेने के लिए लोगो से उधर ले रहे , लोग भी अचंभित हो गए जो सेठ लोगो को उधर देता आज उसे खुद उधर लेना पड़ रहा ,वक़्त .... वक़्त पांडे जी ! अब जब फकीरचंद को एहसास हो गया कि उसे उसका हिस्सा देने में ही भलाई तो राज़ी कर के बुलाया और उसका हिस्सा उसके नामे करवा दिया ! इससे एक बात तो साफ हो गयी कि अन्ना जी का जादू आब घर परिवार में भी छा गया ,सीधे तरीके से अपना हक़ मिल जाये तो ठीक वरना अनसन करो, अनसन से बढ़िया कोई हथियार भी नहीं है अब ,सांप भी मर जायेगा और लाठी भी नहीं टूटेगी ! इस पर हम दोनों कि हंसी छुट गयी ! पांडे जी अपना हक़ लेने गए और हम अपने पिताजी के साथ काम पर निकल लिए !
